Unbeaten United rolls past Portage, 71-30, for berth in District 6 semifinals

ARMAGH — Not much changed for the United Lions in seven days between games.

The Lions looked every bit the same team that closed out an undefeated regular season, staying right on track as they carried that same rhythm into their postseason opener.

United took advantage of Portage, using its disruptive defense to force a pile of turnovers and pull away in a 71-30 victory in the quarterfinals of the District 6 Class 2A boys’ basketball playoffs at home Tuesday.
