United girls hold off Gracie Reed and Indiana for Indiana County Meet title

Indiana’s Emory Derry helped her team win a pair of relays at the Indiana County Meet on Thursday.

MARION CENTER — The girls’ pole vault ran late at the 100th Indiana County Meet at Marion Center High School, and the team title was hanging in the balance.

United senior Maya Ressler, the favorite in the event, took on Indiana’s Julia Weber and Morgan Blystone, with only two points separating their teams in the race for the overall county title.
