Indiana beats Knoch 1-0 in WPIAL playoff opener; Derry up next in semifinals

Another postseason, another thriller for the Indiana Indians.

Indiana opened defense of its WPIAL and PIAA Class 4A baseball titles with a 1-0 victory over Knoch in the quarterfinals at Gateway High School on Monday. The Indians (17-4) advanced to Wednesday’s semifinals to face Derry (10-9) at a site and time to be determined.
