Indiana rebounds with 49-28 win over Fox Chapel in consolation bracket
Indiana scored the first 18 points after halftime and held visiting Fox Chapel to one field goal in the third quarter to pull away for a 49-28 victory in the WPIAL Class 5A girls’ basketball consolation bracket Friday night.
Third-seeded Indiana (21‑4) impressed just two days after falling to No. 6 Penn‑Trafford in the quarterfinals and dropping into the consolation bracket. The Indians, who secured a PIAA berth with their first‑round win over Mars, will face No. 4 Baldwin on Tuesday in the Class 5A fifth‑place game at a site to be determined.
